Casting Call
Title

The following is a fictional casting call for a fictional movie or TV series based on Randy Queen's Darkchylde. Nothing in this area is set in stone and will change from time to time as we continuously tally your nominations.

Ali Larter as Ariel
Arc Stage veteran, Ali Larter, is not only a spectacularly beautiful woman, but also a gifted actress.  Although she is best known for her role as Darcy in the smash hit teen drama, Varsity Blues, Ali has also appeared in Drive Me Crazy, The House on Haunted Hill, and Casanova Falling. All Ariel... all the time.

After small roles on television shows like Malibu Shores, 7th Heaven, and Baywatch, this former Dan Diego Chargers cheerleader finally got her big break with the cult hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Used to playing the bad girl role, we tip this Nevada beauty to be be the definitive Jessica Chylde.

Arc

Charisma Carpenter as Jessica

Jared Leto as Perry
Arc Leto first shot to stardom with his role as Jordan Catalano on televisions, My So Called Life. He followed up his success with critically acclaimed performances in Prefontaine, Urban Legend, and Girl Interrupted.   Leto's ability to play a brooding, yet kind, character would make him an ideal choice for the role of Perry Stodghill.

Widely regarded as one of the most promising actors of his generation, Michael Clarke Duncan made his name with blockbusters like The Green Mile, Armageddon and the Whole Nine Yards. We believe that his ability to blur the line between strength and vulnerability would make him the perfect candidate for the voice of War.

Eddie Murphy as Piece
Arc Merely mention the name, Eddie Murphy, and your likely to send people into fits of laughter.   The actors work in hysterically funny comedies like The Nutty Professor, Bowfinger and 48 Hours are a testiment to his comedic ability.  Murphy as the voice of Piece?  Have you seen Mulan?!?!?!?!

Star of her own self titled talk show, Oprah Winfrey has achieved widespread acclaim through her work in movies like The Color Purple and Beloved.  The compassion and empathy in her voice is reason enough to consider her for the role of the wise and wonderful Sage.
